Short poems for National Poetry Month and Earth Day

These are poems from my other blogs, that seem to work well for both National Poetry Month and Earth Day (April 22).

They are old and new poems from my heart.  Thank you for visiting this blog, Ellen

gardens growing
long before we came here
how deep the roots
must be and decades old
planted in God’s earth

* * *

writing poetry
sun shines on unfinished wood
around the window

* * *

amidst the moss
shapes of cedar branches
on the garage

* * *

warmer weather
on the way
God’s gift of nature
getting ready
to color the gardens

* * *

trusting God
a little more
with my questions
fog rests
on Spring fields
